VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The 2023 building season is beginning soon, and we need volunteers to help with all jobs!

The annual Wesley UMC Rummage Sale will be on Saturday, April 22^nd, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Interstate Center! There will be a $2.00 bag sale during the sale starting at 1:00 pm.

Donation drop-off information:

• Monday, April 17^th, from noon – 9:00 pm at the Interstate Center
• Tuesday, April 18^th – Thursday the 20^th from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm at the Interstate Center
• Friday, April 19^th is a pricing day; NO drop offs will be accepted

Volunteering with Wesley Distribution

The Wesley Distribution Ministry is held on the third

Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We pack bags with diapers, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, and many other products each month. We look for volunteers to help pack and distribute to those who come to us for help. Visit the Wesley Distribution Ministry web page here for this month's needs. 

Hand Out Pods and Quarters

Loads of Love Laundry Assistance welcomes friends interested in helping families who need laundry pods, detergent, fabric softeners, and quarters. Handing these items out is a great way to show how Wesley Church cares about our community when in need.

Loads of Love meets at The Wash House (609 N. Clinton) every fourth Tuesday at 4:30 pm. Reach out to Gary Thompson here at the church to help!

Wednesdays at Wesley

Wednesdays: 5:15 pm - 7:00 pm



Wesley is also in need of Kitchen help each Wednesday! If you want to join Wesley's Food Coordinator, Heaven Scott, and spend some time setting up a tasty, nutritious meal, please contact us by calling the Church or emailing here. Busy families and folks involved in our Wednesday night programming need an hour or so of your time!

Sundays at Wesley provide great opportunities to meet people as they come in and become familiar with our members! We are always looking for friendly faces on Sunday mornings to greet our members and guests before worship.
